Small Ensembles

The full collection of Ross Probert's small ensemble works, including String Collections, quartets and quintets.

Although there aren't the major forces of an orchestra, these pieces aim to bring greater intimacy to the writing and invite you to delve into a more exposed world of emotion.

Why does a soaring melody hit me?
Is there a recognition of myself in this?
Do I understand why this hits me so hard?

The interpretation is yours, and that's the joy of this!

Ross Probert would love to hear what you make of the music, so comment on the videos on YouTube or on posts across social media.
